Residency
Our Vision
To provide a complete living environment where our special adults are encouraged to reach their full potential, enjoy a sense of fulfillment and independence, and live a full life surrounded by friends and loving caregivers.
We accomplish this by focusing on what our special adults can do, not what they cannot do and provide a community where they develop friendships, work together and share life experiences.
The residents have supervised living that is appropriate for each individual's level of independence. We offer challenging employment where they earn an income to assist with their living expenses.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must be semi independent
The Village is licensed by The Department of Mental Health. However, we do not receive any governmental financial assistance.
Our residents are required to pay rent ($250.00 per month) out of their earnings, and the remainder of the fees are the responsibility of their guardian. Tuition is figured on a case by case basis. Our current monthly tuition averages $1800.00 based on a sliding scale.
If you are interested in our Village or would like more information, please contact us to make an appointment for a visit to see if your loved one will fit into our environment at the Village.
Then we will require copies of the applicant’s most recent psychological, psychiatric, and education/employment evaluations as well as any other information that would be helpful in determining whether the Village of the Blue Rose can meet this individuals needs.
An Admission’s Committee conducts a study of the information provided and determines the placement availability, suitability and compatibility of each applicant, and then notifies you whether or not to continue with the next step in the application process.
Please feel free to call for more information at 573.242.3539 and ask for Rose, or email us at Info@VillageOfTheBlueRose.org.
