Situated atop Macintosh Hill  in Pike County, Missouri, The Village of the Blue Rose overlooks the mighty Mississippi River and the surrounding countryside. The 60-acre property is located on scenic Highway 79, 5 miles north of historic Clarksville and 5 miles south of scenic Louisiana, MO.

The Village is open to the public for lunch Wednesday through Sunday from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM .  We are available for private functions in a country club setting. Our buildings include the Lodge where our Restaurant, Bed and Breakfast and small Meeting Space are located.  The Red Barn Antique & Collectible Shop and Flea Market right next door.  And our residents' homes, all with a magnificent view of the river.

A wonderful place to relax or a great home base from which to explore the antique shops and artisans of Pike County. The Village Restaurant and Bed and Breakfast are open year round. The Amish community, Mark Twain country, Hannibal, MO and Quincy, IL are within an hour's drive north, and the metro area of St. Louis is about 90 minutes away.

We have 3 beautiful rooms to choose from and each includes a delicious, hot country breakfast prepared special for our guests

Our common room is located on the lower level and has many doors and windows overlooking the Mississippi river. Other features are: a large fireplace (with firewood) tv, dvd,  sofa and comfortable chairs, along with tables and chairs for games or card playing. There is a mini refrigerator, sink and microwave adjacent to the common room. This area is available for any of our guests to enjoy, as well as the outdoor firepit area, porches, and a large pavilion with ceiling fans.

Come spend a quiet relaxing afternoon watching native birds at our feeders, deer and wild turkeys wandering over the fields and the barges and excursion boats slowly moving on the river. In the right season you may even spot some eagles, seagulls, pelicans, heron, and various other wildlife as they follow nature's plan.
